Overview:

Join our team as a dedicated Pre-K through 12th grade educator for a private school in the Horizon area and make a difference in the lives of young learners. We are seeking a passionate individual to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. This is a small class of mixed age groups and grades. Expectation is to grow the classroom but at the moment is approximately 10 students or less.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and support children with their learning needs
- Conduct activities that promote physical, mental, and social development
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe learning environment
- Collaborate with parents to support each child's individual needs and development
- Monitor children's progress and communicate effectively the lead educator about the child's achievements and behavior
- Implement behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience working with school-age children
- Familiarity with private school settings preferred
- Strong classroom management skills to create an organized and productive learning environment
