Job Overview This is a union position.Women's Residential Step Down is an integral part of the mission of HR360 to provide supportive aftercare housing for individuals recovering from effects of substance use. Recovery Coach is responsible for assessing client needs and strengths in support of health and recovery. through individual coaching with program specific requirements and case management, Recovery Coach assists clients in navigating systems of care while providing a supportive recovery environment. Recovery Coaches are responsible for maintaining and assessing the safety and security of the program and its residents through continued house runs,while providing a supportive environment. Through effective communication, Recovery Coaches relay relevant information to other members of the interdisciplinary team and performs crisis intervention as needed. Recovery coaches ensure that he facility environment is safe and welcoming Key ResponsibilitiesProvide learning experience opportunities and offers support to assist clients in meeting their long-term recovery goals.Responsible for retention and completion of clients, facilitates individual coaching session with each caseload client.Proactively links clients to both internal and external resources based on their recovery needs and follows up on the progress/status.Perform crisis intervention and communicates with treatment team as unforeseen situations arise. Document client updates and incidents in the facility log daily, performs CPR and First Aid including administering.Narcan as needed and work weekends and holiday as needed. Education and Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesHS diploma or equivalent.First aid/CPR certified within 30 days of being hired.Valid CA drivers license.Must not be on active probation or parole.Ability to obtain and maintain satisfactory background check.Desired: Knowledge of co-occurring disorder and trauma informed treatment.Knowledge of clinical documentation such as treatment plans, progress notes.#ZR
