** Part Time Dental Office Front Desk Assistant**

**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced dental receptionist/front desk assistant for our growing general dental practice in Brockton. We are looking for a person with a friendly, patient centric demeanor who is willing to grow with the practice and is comfortable collecting payments and explaining financial options to our patients. As the first and last person our patients see, you are the face of the company.

**Knowledge of dental insurance coding a plus!**

**Must be comfortable explaining financial options!**

***Responsibilities:***

* answering incoming calls and/or emails

* scheduling appointments

* monitoring a schedule throughout the day

* checking insurance benefits

* submitting insurance

* following up on outstanding insurance claims

* collecting payment

* and other activities which help make an office run efficiently and with great reputation.

***Requirements:***

Previous dental office experience, including processing insurance information

Knowledge of the dental field and terminology

General office procedures

Excellent telephone & organizational skills

**Hours are as follows (with some flexibility)**

Monday - Wednesday 9-5

Friday 9-1

Saturday 8-12

**Pay $19 depending upon experience**
