Job Title: Collection System Operator / Wastewater Maintenance Worker

Description of Job: The City of Clay Center Wastewater is accepting application for a full time position of Collection System Operator / Wastewater Maintenance Worker.
The duties of this position include but not limited to; manual labor and the ability to operate heavy equipment while preforming maintenance and monitoring lift stations and compost piles.
On the job training will be provided and position requires strong mechanical abilities and must be able to maintain a class 2 wastewater certificate within 2 (two) years of employment, with the opportunity for advancement.
Wage dependent upon qualifications and a generous benefits package available including vacation, KPERS, retirement, health insurance, holiday, and sick leave.
Pre-employment drug screening, background check and physical capacity profile test required.
