Our Client is a manufacturing company seeking individuals for immediate employment to support our growth into a leading food and medical packing industry supplier. Summary:
The utility worker position conducts essential tasks consistent with the molding & production process standards, according to scheduled demand.
Essential Functions:
The ability to lift and move heavy/hot objects safely is imperative to the machine operator position. All reasonable accommodations with direct relation to safety are provided.
· Analyzes production schedule by demand & schedules material requests a necessary.
· Detects and reports defective materials and/or finished product to the department supervisor.
· Maintains a high-level standard for quality and efficiency in all production tasks.
· Operates pumper machine for the silicone materials on gasket molds.
* Previous press experience a plus.
· Comprehends numerical and alphabetical sequences. Counts accurately & records data.
· Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
· Must be able to perform but not limited to the following tasks: standing, turning, lifting, pushing, pulling, molding, trimming and cutting.
· Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per the P.M. charts.
· Must be willing to accept frequent supervision and work with a team regarding production technique.
· Must be willing to engage in new procedures according to ongoing 5-S practices.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
