Summary

We are currently seeking a Water Resources Civil Staff Engineer for our Denver, CO office. This is a great opportunity for an EIT- Civil Engineer who is interested in working with a dynamic team on a wide range of projects for our public and private clients. What will you be doing? 

  • Working as part of a team as well as independently in learning, evaluating, and applying engineering principles, standards, and criteria.
  • Performs research and writes objective summary reports which are used in the completion of project work or inspection.
  • Typical design work consists of watershed assessments, watershed planning studies, storm water/drainage master plans, storm drainage design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, floodplain mapping studies, and flood control.
  • You will be part of a team specializing in stream stabilization & stormwater management facilities, designing storm sewers, detention/water quality ponds, channels, and natural drainage systems.
  • Providing data, drawings and information pertaining to stormwater, floodplain development, and wetland permit applications
  • Assists in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates. 
  • Completes field observation, inspection and data collection duties as directed by senior engineering staff.
  • Communicate effectively and coordinate with project team members.

 What are we looking for? 

  • A candidate with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year or graduate engineering university in relevant discipline. 
  • A candidate with 0-3 years of relevant engineering experience. 
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication, are organized, and detail oriented.
  • A candidate with proficient knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, etc.). 
  • A candidate with knowledge and familiarity in AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred. Experience GIS, HEC-HMS, CUHP, HEC-RAS and EPA SWMM is preferred.

Compensation Range

$53,500.00 - $92,800.00 

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and geographic work location. The total annual compensation package may consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our performance and discretionary incentive bonus program(s).
