HR Fusion LLC is a long term - trusted recruiting partner for a large manufacturer in Greencastle, IN. We are seeking skilled Blow Molding Process Technicians for 2nd Shift.

Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What will you get to do in this role?

• Setup, safety, and basic maintenance of molds, machines, and equipment
• Create and modify processes for blow molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts
• Set machine controls and turn dials to regulate specified machine forming pressure and plastic curing time in mold.
• Measure and visually inspect sample product for surface and dimensional defects, using microscope, micrometer, and gauges, and adjust machine setup to eliminate defects.
• Develop all needed documents for trials including mold trial history reports, process settings, etc.
• Develop different standards for multiple different tonnage tools.
• Compile and summarize test data, analyze, and interpret test results, and write reports including root cause for errors/defects and recommend countermeasures.
• Create and test production cycle sheets and machine daily maintenance check sheets and machine downtime logs.
• Mentor other associates with less experience in department

Skills/Experience Needed to Qualify for This Position:

• Proficiency in plastics extrusion processes
• Automotive industry experience is a plus

• Blow Molding Process Level Technician experience is required
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot machinery
• Integrity is a must
• Team Player attitude
• Ability to accomplish goals
• Ability to meet or exceed attendance requirements
• Ability to work overtime is required

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
