Midway, LLC is hiring a Facilities Technician to join our team!

Key Details:

  • Pay: $21 - $24/hour DOE

  • Location: Multiple worksites (Wilsonville & Portland)
  • Schedule: Full-time 40 hours/week; 8-hour shifts; Tuesday - Saturday

Who We Are:Midway, LLC is a family-owned umbrella company that supports a variety of entities. Services under the Midway, LLC umbrella include financial, facility and farm support for commercial and residential properties, as well as Graham and Tooze, a consumer facing farm store. The Facility Department supports multiple commercial and residential properties, including two residential properties with farm animals. During the summer months, the facility staff is also responsible for supporting small harvest programs in the garden and fruit tree orchard.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role completing general maintenance.
  • Experience with hand tools.
  • Working knowledge of all building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Comfortable with working outside year-round.
  • Knowledge of computer software programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current unencumbered Oregon driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and DMV check.

What You’ll Do: The Facilities Technician will assist in performing skilled work in the following areas: electrical, painting, plumbing, welding, carpentry, repair, and construction.This position will be responsible for resolving emergency situations and ensuring that assignments are completed in a safe, proper, and timely manner.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance in accordance to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures and fittings, repair leaks and stoppages.
  • Complete minor repairs and adjustments to heating and air conditioning systems and components.
  • Perform general maintenance inside and outside of facilities; install and repair masonry; perform maintenance painting; install & repair appliances; perform necessary clean-up work.
  • Troubleshoot various electrical problems; repair & replace electrical fixtures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
