HQ Aero Management is Hiring a PARTS RUNNER - HQ#21-00067 Near Tucson, AZ
Responsibilities:
As a Parts Runner, you will be required to:
- Assist Stores Departments by receiving and expediting parts, and tooling.
- Delivers parts to technicians.
- Ensures that areas of the parts department are properly stocked.
- Assists the service department by moving parts as needed.
- Picks up and/or delivers parts to designated accounts when instructed by the parts or service departments.
- Ensures the cleanliness of the parts department by disposing of used boxes and trash, sweeping floors and dusting parts bins daily.
- Crates all cores for shipment back to the manufacturer when part has been replaced.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.
- Candidate must be dependable and be able to follow instructions.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in accordance with Title 14 CFR Part 65.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
- Full Time - Long Term Contract
- Shift Schedule:
- Day shift: Monday through Friday | 8:00 am till 4:30 pm
- Night shift: Monday through Friday | 5:00 pm till 3:30 am
- Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance. Must be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized, with the ability to multi-task.
- Must be computer proficient.
- Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.
- Work Environment: FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
