What you’ll do:

• Support the implementation and management of clinical trials phase I-IV, in the ophthalmic medical device industry.
• Use your experience as an optician, or related skill set, in the optical industry to achieve key objectives
• General administrative work including internal coordination of documentation within HOYA Vision Care
• Handling and processing of correspondence with key stakeholders in the study
• Study lens or eyeglasses incoming inspection
• Study eyeglasses final inspection against the prescription
• Remote or on-site training to site opticians or research staffs

Qualifications:

• Experience as an optician strongly preferred
• At least five years of experience in the optical/ophthalmic industry is strongly preferred
• Background, or interest in, quality assurance related tasks
• Background, or interest in, clinical research related tasks
• Ability to work independently from a remote office
• Ability to travel 30% of time
• Passion for the vision care industry
