Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our distribution center.

Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Inspect shipments for damages or defects and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
- Unload and load trucks using forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
- Sort, label, and store incoming products in designated warehouse locations
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to customer orders
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and update shipment records
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in receiving and shipping processes
- Proficient in basic math skills for inventory counting and order verification
- Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and pallet jacks
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required in a warehouse environment
