Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) is seeking a Director of Sales in our Torrance, CA facility. HFS is a business unit of Howmet Aerospace, headquartered in Torrance, California. We hold the number one global position in aerospace fastening systems, and we're the North American leader in commercial transportation fasteners. Our high-tech, multi-material fastening systems are found nose to tail on aircraft and aerospace engines. Our products are also critical components of industrial gas turbines, automobiles, commercial transportation vehicles, and construction and industrial equipment.
Essential Functions:
The Director is responsible for setting and executing the short-term and long-term commercial strategy for Aerospace Fastener customers. The role is responsible for understanding, mapping and developing strategic plans for sales and margin, and to coordinate the strategy within HFS, our customers and the industry. The position is part of the steering committee of the HFS Commercial team, participating to the global internal commercial strategy development. He/she will support development of the global HFS commercial strategic plan, growth initiatives, the interface between Sales/Marketing, customer representatives and management, and will resolve issues related to orders, delivery, product applications, and other commercial and technical issues.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
