Responsibilities

Howmet Aerospace has an immediate opening for a Formulation Manager at our Canton, OH Location.
Key Responsibilities of this position include:

• Formulation - Update chemistry control and manage statistical databases
• Provide formulation aims for future Melts
• Manage raw material flow and consumption
• Support operations in Melt and Turnings Scheduling
• Send samples to NSL, track results
• Walk production floor; hands-on with operations

Qualifications
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry or mathematics or equivalent degree
• Visual Basic Programming - moderate level
• At least 5 years of experience in chemistry control
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Plant production experience strongly preferred
• Experience in SAP preferred
