At Houston Methodist, the Cardiology Diagnostic Technician I position is an entry level Technician that performs electrocardiograms (12 lead EKGs) and Holter monitor applications for both inpatient and outpatient exams.
This position processes and transmits EKG and Holter monitor data to designated software applications. The Cardiology Diagnostic Technician I position ensures exams are available for physician interpretation for completion of exam, including paperwork and reconciliation of exams.
This position collaborates with all members of the patient care team.

Performs diagnostic electrocardiograms (12 lead EKGs) and Holter monitor exams that require precise placement of electrodes to the assigned area for accurate EKG data.
Proactively identifies issues and how to address them for optimum results.

EDUCATION
