ACGME ACCREDITED Family Medicine Residency Program seeking Board-Certified Osteopathic Family Medicine physician to serve as Osteopathic faculty member. Highly qualified applicants will be considered for Director of Osteopathic Education (DOE).

Position Details:

• Student loan repayment up to 100K, moving expenses up to 15K, and commencement bonus
• Paid vacation of 33 days per year plus 5 days CME time and expenses for conference

Essential Duties:

• Serve as supervising faculty for all Family Medicine residents to include supervising resident clinics, coverage on the Inpatient Medicine service (no OB required) and serve as FM physician to primary care patients of Pavilion Family Medicine Center.

• Oversee all aspects of the osteopathic education in the Family Medicine Residency program
• Ensure the completion of all evaluations, quarterly meetings, and requirements
• Supervise and annually evaluate the osteopathic faculty
• Coordinate OMT clinic schedules
• Orient new osteopathic track residents during new residents’ orientation
• Certify completion of the Osteopathic track for the Family Medicine residency and write letters of verification and/or recommendations as requested.

• Provide required materials for ACGME inspections
• Submit annual reports to the ACGME and support the Family Medicine Residency Director with submitting annual reports to the ACOFP
• Participate in Osteopathic Scholarly activity based on ACGME standards
• Ensure compliance with ACGME Osteopathic Recognition Standards

Day-to-day duties vary between precepting, administrative time, personal clinic, and teaching. There is never a dull day in graduate medical education, which makes educating residents and students fulfilling!
