The Administrative Coordinator supports the manager by performing secretarial duties.Coordinates the daily schedule for appointments and meetings with other departments within the organization as well as vendors.Provides patient and guest relations in a professional manner to ensure positive perception of the department.May assist with the registration of Cath Lab patients before service is rendered.Obtains demographic and financial (insurance) information and enters information into computer to assure accurate information to process billing.Acts as the timekeeper of department employees.Acts as liaison for families, staff and physicians.
High School diploma or GED equivalent. Two (2) year secretarial experience with office management skills or Associate Degree in Business or related healthcare field. Current AHA-BLS certification. Knowledge of office administration procedures; ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality concerning medical records; excellent interpersonal skills; team building skills; analytical and problem solving skills; decision making skills; effective verbal and listening skills; very effective organizational skills; computer skills including the ability to develop and operate spreadsheets; time management skills; ability to be flexible.
Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
