Description:

About Housing Connector

Housing Connector is a tech-for-good nonprofit dedicated to leveraging technology for social good, aimed at enhancing housing accessibility for those in greatest need. We achieve this by addressing financial and resident-related hurdles faced by property owners, enabling them to extend their reach within the community. Additionally, through our user-friendly marketplace powered by Zillow, we streamline the housing search process for case managers. Together, we foster successful outcomes for both properties and residents.

At Housing Connector, we believe no unit should sit vacant while there are people in need of a home. Recognized as a World Changing Idea by FastCompany, our innovative approach has not only generated millions in revenue for our property partners but has also connected thousands of individuals with homes.

Position Overview

Housing Connector delivers more than $3 million in rental support annually. A great candidate will be excited to dive in deep to understand and make sense of complex data that affects lives. There is no problem too big or small worth solving; whether determining a way to simplify making variable utility payments or forecasting how to spend $5 million in rental support, you act quickly and decisively. Your work at Housing Connector will change lives for the better, providing people with a place to call home.

The Payments Program Manager will administer rental payments and emergency rental support across markets, predominately in the Seattle and Denver metros. The role will require you to be detail oriented, a self-starter, and manage complexity. You will lead disbursement of rental payments for up to 350 households and emergency rental support to current residents, while maintaining strong relationships with property owners like King County Regional Homelessness Authority, and the City of Denver. A highly responsive, customer service centered approach will be key to your success.

Our ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, a track record of successfully managing data projects involving multiple stakeholders, and an ownership mentality.
