We achieve this by addressing financial and resident-related issues for property owners, enabling them to welcome more community members. Additionally, we simplify the housing search process for case managers through our Zillow-powered marketplace. Position Overview

As a Housing Partnership Navigator on our property partner team, you will play a crucial role in attracting, engaging, and delighting property partners in the city.

The ideal candidate has a background in finding housing for people experiencing instability. The focus of this role is property partner engagement and communication throughout the housing application lifecycle. In this role you will work with property partners, and not directly with the individuals we are helping to house.

We are seeking a candidate with experience in cultivating and overseeing relationships with housing providers, and who excels at collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a proactive approach and enjoy engaging and impressing new partners in sales environments. This role demands a passion for relationship-building, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple partnerships concurrently. Effective communication and organizational abilities are paramount for success in this position.

Responsibilities and Priorities:

Property Partner Relations:

  • Identify vacant units, often through cold outreach, to expand our inventory of available units.
  • Track and maintain monthly unit inventory and property details in spreadsheets.
  • Utilize mapping trackers to communicate unit availability effectively.
  • Negotiate lease terms with property partners and coordinate contract agreements.
  • Learn the lease application process for each property and liaise with city service providers supporting clients with housing needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for properties throughout the application and move-in process. including:
  • Communicate with owners, managers, and various stakeholders for each property via phone, in-person, and email.
  • Provide support in submitting lease applications to properties and communicate application decisions to community partners daily.
  • Obtain property-specific information (address, W9s, etc.) to ensure timely payments and maintain detailed and organized documentation for properties.
  • Participate in daily virtual meetings with partner organizations to coordinate applications, approvals, inspections, and move-in dates.
  • Conduct in-person habitability inspections on units pre-move-in.
  • Generate new leads for available units monthly.
  • Assist with multiple individual move-ins every month.
  • Triage property and client issues by liaising with case managers and creating tickets.

Internal communications:

  • Collaborate weekly with the Director and Property Partnership Manager to identify available units.
  • Understand the workings of our Zillow partnership and marketplace.
  • Communicate with the Payment Program Manager and accounting team to ensure timely payments to properties.
  • Collaborate weekly with the local Denver team.
  • Engage with other markets across the country to share and learn best practices.
Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, lead development, or client relations roles.
  • Previous experience finding housing for individuals experiencing housing instability.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to identify and solve problems.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to think like a project manager and stay on top of tasks.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering results.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and other office software (e.g., Zoom).
  • Nice to have: Experience with a CRM.
  • Ability to travel for meetings and inspections in the greater Denver area.
  • Must possess a valid CO State driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle for business-related appointments and meetings and maintain proof of vehicle insurance.

At Housing Connector, we prioritize internal and market equity. The salary for this position ranges from $68,000 to $74,000 annually and includes eligibility for company benefits. Salary will be determined based on the candidate's skills and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
