Household Staffing is Hiring a Warm & Loving Nanny Needed! Near Greenwich, CT

Greenwich CT family is looking to hire an Experienced Nanny for one child who is loving & kind, and has a positive, playful, “willing to go and do”, attitude. This nanny is responsible, a great communicator, respectful, and wants to be an impactful team member to the family. The nanny will manage all aspects related to the child, under the supervision of the parent, alongside light administrative work. This energetic and happy nanny, with researched knowledge of developmental milestones, will be responsible for maintaining the child’s daily schedule, cooking and preparing meals, helping to expand child’s healthy food palate, playfully participating in and or taking them to school/classes/outings/age-appropriate activities before bath and bedtime routines. For this position, the nanny will need to be willing to travel with the and be available during the evenings or overnights, on occasion. The family employs housekeepers, however, the nanny will be responsible for the children’s laundry, sheets, cleaning and tidying up, washing children’s dishes, organizing the children’s room, clothes, and toys. This nanny will help with other light housekeeping and errand running such as loading the dishwasher, taking out the trash, organizing as needed, grocery shopping, appointment making, and package returns, among others while the child is at school or otherwise. This nanny must be comfortable with a small (friendly) dog, and occasionally taking her out potty and throwing the ball, when parent is working.Communication is key! This position requires consistent communication with the parent and showing deference to the parent to make decisions for the child. No personal cell-phone use when with the child or at work. This nanny must get along well with others, be warm, & pleasant when/ if asked be willing to help out in other areas as needed.This is a fantastic opportunity for a great nanny who views being a nanny as an honorable and incredibly important profession; a person that intends grow with one family for years, as the child develops. As the child grows, this role with adapt and job duties may change, when the child is in school or activities more often.

Minimum of 3 References
Swimmer
Clean driving record
Candidate needs to be comfortable with getting up to date vaccines for safety of infant
Private bedroom and bathroom provided if overnights or resting space is needed
Required to work on holidays when needed; will be compensated accordingly
Spanish speaking is a bonus!
