Job Title: Newborn Care Specialist

Location: Miami, FL

Duration: 6-week Contract

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: $700-$1000 per day (depending on experience, hours worked, etc)
Schedule: The Client is flexible on the schedule depending on the NCS' preference of 12 hours/7 days a week, 24/7, 20/7, etc. 

About the Family: A respected family in Miami is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Newborn Care Specialist to provide dedicated care to their 2-week-old baby. This is a short-term, 6-week contract position with the potential for extension if necessary.

Responsibilities:

1. Newborn Care:

   • The Newborn Care Specialist will attend to the daily needs and routines of the 2-week-old baby.
   • Monitor the baby's overall well-being.

2. Feeding:

   • Administer both bottle-fed formula and breast milk as per the parents' instructions.
   • Prepare and sterilize bottles and other feeding equipment.
   • Regularly wash bottles and pump parts.

3. Breast Milk Familiarity:

   • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of breast milk handling, storage, and preparation.
   • Provide assistance and support to breastfeeding mothers as needed.

4. Sleep Safety:

   • Implement and maintain a sleep schedule suitable for the newborn.

5. Communication:

   • Maintain regular communication with parents regarding the baby's progress, routines, and any concerns.

6. Safety and Hygiene:

   • Ensure a safe and clean environment for the baby.
   • Adhere to high standards of hygiene when handling feeding equipment and baby-related items.

7. Flexibility:

   • Adapt to the changing needs and schedules of the baby and family.
   • Be available for overnight care.

Qualifications:

1. Experience:

   • The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Newborn Care Specialist with a focus on infants under 3 months old.
   • Previous experience in a similar role is required.

2. Flexibility:

   • Ability to adjust to the family's schedule and needs.

3. Communication Skills:

   • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
   • Ability to maintain a positive and collaborative relationship with parents.
