A dynamic and loving family located in Avon, CT is looking for a dedicated and energetic individual to join their team as a housekeeper/nanny. Their ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our family's daily activities, with a focus on caring for their 5-year-old and 3-year-old boys, as well as assisting with the upcoming addition to our family in 2024. Both boys are in school all day.
Duties will include: Grocery shopping, meal prep, laundry, picking kids up from school and taking them to their activities, keeping the house (kids areas) tidy, spending special enriching time with them. She will have another person helping with the baby that is coming in August and the main responsibilities of this team member would be the older boys and some baby activities in the afternoon.
What Works Best for Family: We're looking for someone who will engage and connect with the kids - reading, building Legos, working on letters/numbers and who holds safety as the most important responsibility. Their driving record and practices need to be very safety focused. With three kids, we'd be looking to travel with this person for support. We like to go on ski trips, hiking trips, and relaxing vacations with our extended family. Both boys have nut allergies so we'll also count on this person to watch for that and to take action if needed..

Position Responsibilities

Childcare: Provide care and supervision for our 5-year-old and 3-year-old boys, engaging in activities such as reading, building Legos, and working on letters/numbers.

Transportation: Responsible for picking up the kids from school and taking them to various activities. A strong emphasis on safety and a safe driving record is essential.

Meal Preparation: Assist with grocery shopping and meal preparation, considering any dietary restrictions, including nut allergies.

Housekeeping: Keep the children's areas tidy, assist with laundry, and maintain an organized and safe environment.

Enrichment Time: Spend quality, enriching time with the children, fostering their development and interests.

Travel: Be open to traveling with the family on ski trips, hiking adventures, and vacations, providing support and assistance.

Position Requirements
