JOB DESCRIPTION

The House of Pure Vin seeks a driven and ambitious individual with experience in retail sales and a commitment to providing exceptional and equitable customer service. As a Sales Ambassador you will join an inclusive team of passionate individuals on a mission to empower and educate the community on the diverse culture of wine. You will have the opportunity to grow your career and knowledge as you actively engage with customers immersed in a unique collection of wine from across the globe. The ideal candidate possesses an entrepreneurial mindset and understands the need to increase sales while preserving the mission at the core of The House of Pure Vine.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver exceptional customer service by actively engaging customers

Educate customers on the knowledge of the brand and product details

Asses the customers individual taste and need to best recommend products

Strengthen community relationships by building capacity with customers in an effort to grow the wine club

Create and present in-store presentations with the goal of making sales and retaining customers

Help take part in tastings and events to improve customers buying experience and brand awareness

Communicate sales reports and mange inventory both in ordering and on the floor

Demonstrate effort to increase and grow sales with current inventory

Contribute to a work environment that promotes diversity, equity and inclusion

Enter customer information in the computer to track purchases and notify them for wine tasting events, and accept payment in timely manner, process credit card charges or make change

Assist with cleaning or resetting tasting room, or other areas of the store that needs attention

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a high school diploma

Must have past sales experience

Basic knowledge of wine steward or past bartender experience (willing to train the right candidate)

Must have excellent verbal and written skills

Basic understanding of presenting products to customers

Ability to work independently and as a motivated team player

Skilled in various social media platforms and building relations

Ability to work a part-time retail schedule Tuesday through Sunday

Pay Starts at $10.00 an hour plus Tips

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
