```Duties```

- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a group home environment.

- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and prevent challenging behaviors.

- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care at all times.

- Advocate for resident rights and promote independence and self-determination.

```Qualifications```

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in senior care, assisted living, or related field is a plus.

- Previous experience in direct support or caregiving roles preferred.

- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with individuals with disabilities, their families, and other staff members.

- Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
