Description

Functions:

Responsible for all aspects of parts inventory. Responsible for receiving, unloading, checking, stocking, shipping, returning, verifying accuracy, etc. 
Responsibilities and Authority:

• Move incoming product to correct departments and assist in shelving/placing parts into their correct location. 
• Operate a pallet jack or hand truck to move or hoist parts from shipping and receiving staging areas in a safe manner. 
• Re-stock customer returns to their designated locations. 
• Prepare the inventory for the yearly physical inventory by rearranging stock and check bin locations. 
• Locate new stock into its proper place in the warehouse. 
• Return parts for credit by applying, picking, packing, and shipping the items back to the manufacturer. 
• Pick customer orders accurately and organize the parts in shipping bins. 
• Prepare and load parts into delivery vehicles and occasionally transport parts to customers. 
• Empty waste cans, sweep, clean, mow, and cut down cardboard for disposal. 
• Any other tasks deemed necessary by Management. 

Qualifications:
Must have a valid in-state driver’s license in good standing. Excellent communication skills required. Basic mathematical and reasoning skills required. Fork lift course completion certificate required. Must have basic computer skills. Employee must be able to lift/move 25 lbs. consistently and occasionally 100 lbs. 

Working Conditions:
Work in a warehouse setting. Will have to utilize a forklift and possibly a delivery vehicle. Will stand, stoop, lift, kneel, crouch, or reach during the shift and at times climb steps. This position requires exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, fumes, hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Time for this position is split between office and warehouse settings.
