Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Paralegal to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys' case needs.
Responsibilities:
- Opening files and entering client information into case management software
- Communicate with clients on regular intervals
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents and correspondence
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
- Handle Medicare/Medicaid, health insurance, and provider liens
- Draft Discovery responses
- Negotiate reductions with providers and health insurance companies
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE at least 3 years of personal injury litigation experience (anything less will not be considered)
- MUST BE proficient in drafting discovery responses (only those with experience will be considered)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Be deadline and detail-oriented
- Be able to work independently as well as with a team (we do not micro-manage)
