Hotel Zaza Museum District is Hiring a Steward | Full-Time Near Houston, TX
Summary: To wash and clean all cookware, china, glass, silver from kitchen production on areas in accordance to ZaZa standards.
Essential Functions:
- Cleans pots, pans and all other cookware utensils.
- Keeps cookware washing area clean and neat.
- Stores cleaned items in the proper location.
- Keeps kitchen floor area clean and free of debris.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Tools and Equipment:
- Coffee maker/urn, beverage machines, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, queen-mary cart, broom, mop, bucket, cart,
Working Environment:
- Interior of hotel, in all Food and Beverage areas, with exposure to humidity and extreme temperatures.
- Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
- Exposure to food items and beverages.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to:
- Stand;
- Walk;
- Use hands to handle, or feel;
- Reach with hands and arms;
- Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl;
- Talk or hear and taste or smell;
- Sitting;
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds;
- Specific vision abilities required by this job to see, read, write, and use a computer
- Must be able to communicate with guests in English.
