Overview:

Human Resources Manager

We are a people powered business. So, were looking for an HR Manager who recognizes that culture is key with the drive to create an enabling and empowering environment that brings the best out of our team. A leader who delivers truly memorable experiences to our guests and associates as a result.

Working in collaboration with the Director of Human Resources, youll mostly be:

  • Creating programs to foster a positive work environment for every single associate.
  • Developing creative ways to inspire and motivate the associates to provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • Creates strategies that help us to attract, retain and develop our associates.
  • Assists the hiring managers to recruit for all departments. Create and post open positions using our ATS systems.
  • Ensures the property is compliant in all applicable Washington state employment laws and regulations.
  • Supporting and administering an annual team member satisfaction survey.
  • Welcoming and orienting new members of the property. Conduct new hire Orientation meetings for all new hires.
  • Ensure all associates have completed necessary trainings of Pyramid Global Hospitality requirements as a new hire. Maintains the Training records and ensures annual required trainings are conducted.
  • Maintains an open-door policy with all associates and management team.
  • Ensures the disciplinary and documentation process is completed according to standard operating procedures (as provided by Pyramid Global management team).
  • Coaches and supports the department heads with disciplinary process and documentation when needed.
  • Managing associate records and ensuring compliance with relevant employee laws, policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Must have good communication skills and respond to emails in a professional and clear manner.
  • MS Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Power Point and Excel) skills and knowledge are required.
  • Displays a professional and approachable demeanor when representing the HR department.
  • Maintains confidentiality with all associates and/or leaders when dealing with confidential or sensitive matters.
Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with ATS (applicant tracking systems) and/or iCIMS and Workday is a plus.
  • High school diploma, secondary education or equivalent. 2 years related experience in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Some college courses in Human Resources, Employment Law or related field preferred.Must be fluent in English.Knowledge of other languages, a plus.
