Position Title: On-Call Banquets Server

Pay Range: $10.63/hr plus tips
Role SummaryJoin our team as an On-Call Banquet Server for the 2023 season at the Hotel Jerome, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by working on different high-profile events on the property. Ensuring the best service possible.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlease note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

• Maintaining knowledge of current BEO: Event name and occasion, VIP guest name, timelines and location, menu and beverage, entertainment, and special requests.
• Complete set up according to pre-event sheet and pre-shift assignments.
• Organize assigned station and ensure readiness prior to guest arrival.
• Serve and clear all food courses and non-alcoholic beverage items to the guests.
• Understand and anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and at whatever time of day.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Be familiar with all resort services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
• Clean and reset venue after guest departs according to the event calendar.
• Complete breakdown duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age
• 1-year experience as a banquet server
• Preference of serving in luxury environment

Physical Demands

• Must have the ability to move/maneuver in an face paced restaurant environment

• Must have the ability to lift up to 30lbs
