Job Title: Overnight Valet / Porter - Graveyard Shift (11pm - 7am)

About Us:

Hotel Eastlund, situated in the heart of a vibrant city, is seeking a Valet Driver and or Night Auditor for our Graveyard Shift.

Position Description:

As a Valet Driver / Night Auditor during our Graveyard Shift, you play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a welcoming and secure experience. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of guest services, including acting as a bell-person, valet, concierge, and maintaining the cleanliness of public areas. We require excellent English communication skills and outstanding guest relations abilities. You should have a strong knowledge of the local area to enhance the guest experience. Any positions related to valet parking or transporting guests or employees will necessitate a good driving/motor vehicle record.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure guests receive a courteous and efficient check-in and check-out experience.

- Handle guest issues, complaints, and requests efficiently.

- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests.

- Provide directions and information about local attractions and facilities.

- Demonstrate proper telephone etiquette.

- Manage reservations, including same-day and future bookings.

- Generate audit reports and report discrepancies.

- Maintain a positive work atmosphere.

- Report issues and emergencies promptly.

- Adhere to grooming and dress codes.

- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- No specific educational requirement.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

- Basic computer skills.

- Problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently with little supervision.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to see, hear, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, lift up to 25 pounds, and operate office equipment.
