SUMMARY:

The Bell Person is responsible for welcoming all guests to the hotel as well as bidding them farewell. The Bell Person sometimes will escort guests to and from their accommodations, orienting them with the features of the property and their accommodations, assisting the guest in any way to make them feel comfortable in accordance with The Hotel Colorado Standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet guests when they arrive at the hotel and assist with luggage.
• Assist with delivering luggage for Tour Groups known as porterage.
• Help with guest luggage when they are checking out of the hotel.
• Answer guest questions about things to do in the area, dining options, etc.
• Assist moving packages to the correct location.
• Maintaining a clean and welcoming presence in the hotel, including removal of trash, straightening of furniture, etc.
• Delivering of guest items to rooms
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
