This role is located onsite in Indy. Second Shift: Mon-Fri 2pm-11pm

The Assistant Engineering "Maintenance" Manager is responsible for supervising and training maintenance personnel in the upkeep of existing equipment and the installation of new equipment. Planning and directing engineering and maintenance activities for a work shift.

This Person will be Responsible for:

• Supervising and leading a shift of mechanics to meet planned objectives and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Identifying equipment and facility deficiencies and ensuring the initiation of corrective action.
• Instructing production personnel in the proper operation and care of equipment.
• Monitoring performance of direct reports and providing feedback to improve performance.

We’d Love to Hear from People with these Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering Technology is preferred
• 4 years of maintenance experience in a food-manufacturing environment desired.
• 2 years’ experience as a supervisory is preferred
