The Corporate Paralegal will perform a variety of duties to support the General Counsel, Associate General Counsel, and Corporate Counsel.

The ideal candidate will have five or more years of paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department assisting the chief legal officer and team. To be successful in this role, one must be highly organized and thrive in a fast paced environment with changing priorities. This role will be based out of our corporate office in Lenexa, KS.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate non-disclosure agreements and other standard agreements
• Assist with management of trademark portfolio
• Respond to subpoenas for records and other document requests
• Assist with discovery responses
• Assist with insurance renewals
• Assist with policy management, updates, and compliance
• Establish and maintain relevant corporate files
• Perform Clerical duties, as needed
• Form, qualify, maintain, and assist in management, withdraw or dissolution of entities
• General corporate housekeeping matters, e.g., maintenance of corporate records and minute books
• Coordination of annual stockholders’ meetings
• Assist with other matters as requested by attorneys, including due diligence activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
• At least 5 years of previous experience as a paralegal
• Preferred candidate will have law firm experience as well as in-house experience
