Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. As a Carpenter/Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to construction and carpentry work. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in power tools, and general construction skills. This is currently a 1099 self employed position, but in the works to change this.
Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry work including cabinet installation, tile laying, windows, doors, framing, flooring, painting, sometimes general labor. We do pretty much anything. some electrical and plumbing experience is a plus. attention to detail and safety.
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete assigned projects
- Assist with building and assembling structures according to blueprints or instructions
- Conduct construction painting and plastering as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter/Laborer or similar role
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Strong knowledge of general construction techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
