Plan, organize, coordinate, and provide professional specialty nursing care for patients by following established medical standards and protocols. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
QualificationsEducation
Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred, but not required.
Experience
2 years of healthcare experience is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
