Summary

HSHS Director of Nursing

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) has an exciting opportunity for a Director-Nursing, Women and Children’s Services to our Hospital Sisters Health System Eastern Wisconsin leadership team.

The Director reports directly to the HSHS Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and is a collaborative leader comfortable managing within a matrix environment. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record in leading the overall operational and financial activities of inpatient Women and Infants, NICU, and Pediatrics. The Director will also be key in the strategic planning for Women and Children’s Services to effectively staff and meet the needs of the organization.

Based in Green Bay, WI

  • Focus on operational and financial leadership of Women’s and Children’s Services for HSHS Eastern WI Hospitals.
  • Reports directly to Chief Nursing Officer
  • Located in Green Bay, Wisconsin

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.
  • May consider candidate who is currently enrolled, and BSN is obtained within 2 years of hire.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.

Experience

  • 5 years of nursing experience is required.
  • 3 years of leadership experience or equivalent is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
  • Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
