ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processes admissions on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis as directed by patient and family needs.
• Works late evening or late night admissions at least once weekly.
• Provides professional, courteous nursing service to the patient consistent with knowledge, training experience and hospice standards.
• Provides the initial patient and family assessment, incorporating psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, physical and appropriate nursing interventions.
• Meets or exceeds weekly productivity standards for completing admissions.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • Minimum of AA degree in nursing; Bachelors Degree preferred. Current Florida RN license in good standing. 
• Minimum of (1) one year clinical nursing experience.
• Excellent assessment skills required.
• Current Basic life support (BLS) CPR Certification required.
