Your Role as an Associate Medical Director:
In this pivotal role, you'll lead the medical direction of our dedicated team, upholding the highest standards of clinical care and administrative excellence to maintain the integrity of our hospice programs. Your contributions will include:
Ensure appropriate evaluation and certification and recertification of terminal illnesses
Ensure the accuracy in documentation supporting hospice eligibility
Engaging actively in weekly interdisciplinary group meetings to ensure a holistic approach to care.
Actively participating in new admissions for the agency
Ensuring excellent care coordination by liaising with attending physicians and supporting our interdisciplinary teams.
Supports and participates in care conferences with patients and interdisciplinary teams
Support education of team members and rotation of residents
Participating in inpatient care, including rotations at Bruns House and other hospital settings, alongside supporting night on-call duties as needed.
