Want to join our Team? We are currently looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Systems Administrator you will provide end user support and manage network infrastructure, utilization, security, communications, business continuity and application maintenance.
Office Location: Pasadena, MD
Status: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm with on-call requirements
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience, education, and credentialing
Main Responsibilities:
Support:
  • Provides technical and operational user support and training.
  • Effectively assists with monitoring, responding, and documenting requests received through the IS HELP line and ticketing system.
  • Provides on-call support on a rotating basis.
  • Assists with the configuration and deployment of new hardware and software.
Network:
  • Manages network operations, applications, backup, and data integrity.
  • Manages active directory infrastructure, network security and network configuration.
  • Utilizes appropriate change management, approval, and documentation procedures.
Financial:
  • Assists in the evaluation of hardware and software.
  • Assists in asset tracking and cost accounting.
  • Assists in departmental purchasing activities and inventories.
Administration:
  • Manages routine and unplanned network/application maintenance.
  • Maintains accurate departmental documentation on procedures/policies/practices.
  • Performs administrative departmental responsibilities.

Qualifications
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum two years of system administration experience in a Microsoft (MS) environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with modern day MS Server, MS Windows Operating System, Active DirectoryAzure, DNS, Endpoint Protection Tools, TCP/IP routing and switching, VPN. Certifications Desirable.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated time and project management skills.
  • Willingness to work outside of regular office hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays to accommodate the needs of the organization.
  • Self-motivated and willing to self-direct.
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to details, efficiency, accuracy, and deadlines.
  • Ability to manage competing and changing priorities.
  • Maintains a customer service centered approach to support and problem solving.
  • Willingness and ability to pass a background check.
