Job Summary:

The Marina Dock Cleanliness Agent is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the Marina Boat Docks. This person is to be hands on with the day-to-day cleaning needs of the Marina Department.

Marina Dock Cleanliness Agent is mainly responsible for the cleanliness needs of the Main Marina slips, West Bank Marina slips, PWC dock, and more; plus any other duties assigned by the Marina Manager. The Marina Dock Cleanliness Agent is to greet and assist members/guests while maintaining a friendly disposition and to facilitate a high Horseshoe Bay Resort standard to ensure a positive membership experience through cleanliness initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent, desired
• Previous cleaning experience
• Ability to perform the physical tasks of the job including standing, walking, squatting, bending, stretching for long periods of time
• Maintain proper associate uniform standards and footwear which is slip resistant, enclosed toe and heel.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently to complete tasks within designated guidelines

General Duties:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all docks and slips, both yearly and daily.
• Remove webs from the docks using cobweb dusters or any other available tools to maximize cleanliness.
• Pressure wash the docks to maximize cleanliness.
• Empty waste receptacles along Marina docks.
• Communicate opportunities and needs about concerns regarding lifts, pedestals, electrical, standards, and cleanliness to Marina management.

• Ability to deal with spiders and other wildlife in day-to-day work on the docks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Customer service experience required
• Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality
• Exceptional communication, organizational skills and detail oriented
• Service oriented- able and willing to accommodate and anticipate guests needs
• Computer literate and proficient in Word, Excel, related Marina software
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
• Comply and adhere to all Horseshoe Bay Resort and marina policies
• Maintain a professional image with the proper uniform standard and maintaining personal hygiene
