Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually

Unmatched Comp Time Policy: Hours worked over 40 in a week can be reimbursed as additional pay at an equivalent hourly rate or banked as additional PTO.

As a Professional Engineers for Structures, you will work on challenging assignments, including designing, evaluating, and analyzing heavy civil and building structures.

Responsibilities, Expectations, and Duties:

• Lead the design and analysis of heavy civil and building structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations
• Prepare designs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and specifications
• Work in cooperation with structural team to deliver contract documents on time and within the project budget for local, state and federal agencies.
• Perform or check designs using STAAD, RAM, Enercalc, Excel and other structural anlysis software
• Design or check retaining wall and other structural components in support of site civil projects
• Establish and maintain client relationships; ensure client satisfaction; ensure client objectives are met
• Assist in building a strong regional presence for the firm in structural engineering
• Structures lead for smaller projects, coordinating staff and design efforts

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:

•  B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
• 8 to 10 years of experience
• Professional Engineering (PE) licensure or ability to obtain PE within one year
• Structural Engineering (SE) licensure or ability to obtain SE within one year (not required but encouraged).
• Willingness to work on projects locally or in workshare with other offices, some travel required--<10%
• Experience working in multidiscipline design teams
• Design Build and Alternative Delivery experience a plus
• Established relationships with local clients a plus
