Horrocks is Hiring a Municipal Client Manager Near Pleasant Grove, UT

Unmatched Comp Time Policy: Hours worked over 40 in a week can be reimbursed as additional pay at an equivalent hourly rate or banked as additional PTO. 

Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000, annually

We are seeking a dynamic and personable Municipal Client Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting our innovative geospatial solutions and GIS services in the local government market. This individual will play a vital role in building and maintaining relationships with customers, conducting product demonstrations, attending industry events, and providing valuable feedback to our development team.

Responsibilities, Expectations, and Duties:

  • Promote and showcase our geospatial solutions and GIS services to potential customers in the local government market
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to highlight key features and benefits of our offerings
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide guidance on product selection, pricing, and implementation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to drive sales and foster customer loyalty
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies, including targeted campaigns, email marketing, and social media initiatives
  • Represent Horrocks solutions at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to generate leads and increase brand awareness
  • Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to the development team to inform product enhancements and new feature development
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement
  • This position will report to the Applications Manager within the Research and Development group

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, GIS, Engineering or a related field
  • Prior experience in sales, marketing, or customer service, preferably in the geospatial industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and connect with customers in a professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a passion for technology and innovation.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivated self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving goals
  • Technically savvy with a basic understanding of geospatial concepts and GIS technology (prior experience is a plus)
