Hormel Foods is Hiring a Laborer 2nd shift Near Nevada, IA
Shift : 2nd; 4 : 00 pm to 2 : 00 pm
Monday thru Friday, Weekends as Production Scheduled Requires
Pay Rate : $21.00 $1.00 shift differential
This position is responsible for supplying meat to the grindroom from the Meat receiving cooler, transporting raw meat from combos to the grinder and grinding of frozen meat.
May perform general housekeeping duties. The individual is required to contribute to harmony in the workplace.
All team members must abide by all of Burke's Plant Safety Rules!
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ability to learn and perform multiple positions (training will be provided)
- Being able to operate an electric pallet jack (in-house training provided)
- Ability to work in an environment that is fast paced
- Being able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to do repetitive tasks
- Standing, walking, pushing, lifting, bending, stepping up and down
- Operating food processing equipment
- Fill in for other plant positions as necessary.
- Basic Math skills
- Perform any and all duties as assigned by Supervisor

- 18 years or older
- 6 months of work history
