Lead UX Designer
Requirements:
- 10 years of UX design/research lead experience managing people (heavier focus on research vs design)
- Experience w/ digital first transformations of web and mobile solutions (this is a must)-- lending, leasing, and cash Management products is a huge plus
- Experience building customer journey
- Experience w/ user research, usability testing, a/b testing, customer personas, and user centric design principles
- IA experience (content, mapping, layouts, etc...)
- Figma, Figjam, Micro, Sketch, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Bachelor's degree required
- Portfolio required
- Vaccination required
Job Summary:
UX Designer with a strong background in UI/UX Design and user research to
Works with the product owner(s), customers and scrum team(s) to enhance our customer experience. In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects is essential. Ultimately, you will make our product more user-friendly and intuitive to attract and retain customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to:
1. Strong UI/UX design skills showcasing problem solving techniques focused on the customer
2. Expertise in design software such as Figma, Figjam, and Miro.
3. Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
4. Strong understanding of usability principles, journey mapping techniques, information architecture, and interaction design.
5. Experience in conducting user research and usability testing to support evidence-focused design decisions.
6. Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and process.
7. Define and execute a customer centric strategy to focus on the customer experience through user research
8. Strong journey mapping experience.
9. Developing wireframes and task flows based on user needs
10. Collaborating with Designers and Developers to create intuitive, user-friendly software
11. Understand product specifications and user psychology
12. Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
13. Create personas through user research and data
14. Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success
15. Work with existing UI Developer to create wireframes and prototypes around customer needs
16. Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
17. Ability to lead and manage a team
