Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Teach basic academic skills such as math, language, and science through hands-on experiences
- Provide individualized attention and support to children who may need extra help or tutoring
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check clearance
Note: This position does not involve daycare services. It is focused on providing educational instruction to preschool-aged children.
