This position will focus on coaching and mentoring the team, sustaining their success, and creating a positive culture within the restaurant.

Compensation: $65,000-$78,000 base salary bonus benefits PTO
Assistant General Manager Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager in a Full Service concept.
• Good interpersonal skills. Can communicate with staff effectively and leads by example.
• Cost management. Knows cost, cost percentages, and how to reduce waste and loss while improving performance.
• Knows food and beverage costing, pricing, and menu development.
• Prior experience in hiring, training, and staff development.
• Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
• Good grasp of 4-walls marketing plans.
• Know how to use Microsoft Office and prefer familiarity with Shift Note.
• Familiar with TOAST P.O.S. operations, set-up, and maintenance.

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage operations and finances of the restaurant
• Maintain food and equipment inventories, and keep inventory records.
• Schedule staff hours and assign duties.
• Organize and direct worker training programs
• Establish and enforce standards for personal performance and customer service.
• Plan menus and food utilization, based on the anticipated number of guests, nutritional value, palatability, popularity, and costs.
• Keep records required by government agencies regarding sanitation or food subsidies.
