Qualifications


The Director of Practice Management is responsible for providing oversight and leadership to both Practice Managers and Customer Care Manager multiple in primary and specialty care clinics throughout the community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field with two (2) years supervisory and/or program development experience in primary care and/or behavioral health setting.
  • Ability to make independent decisions on behalf of management.
  • Strong business and leadership experience with demonstrated experience in people management and understanding human resources needs with a strong desire and skillset around health care operations.
  • Strong professionalism and perseverance to follow through on tasks with a sense of ownership and urgency in problem solving.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with Physicians, other medical professionals, office personnel employees and patients.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent patient focused customer service with ability to get to the root of a customer issue, confidence, patience, tact, and diplomacy (to diffuse difficult situations)
  • Demonstrated ability to identify organizational gaps and drives implementation of processes to close gaps.
  • Ability to develop, organize, motivate, coordinate, and collaborate effectively with staff and stakeholders from multiple business areas across the organization.
  • Ability to travel regularly to visit all operations sites.
  • Proficient in use of computers, electronic health record and software programs.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal regulations.
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends on an emergency basis.
  • Demonstrable theoretical knowledge in the field.
  • Must obtain and maintain a fingerprint card and pass a background check.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.

Physical

  • Long periods of sitting, ability to bend, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to operate phone, Fax, copier, and a computer.
  • Able to operate Agency vehicle.

Qualifications Preferred

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Organization policies.
  • Software solution experience. EMR/EHR background, healthcare software experience, or integrated care specific background.
