As a Program Director at Horizon, you will…
- Provides direct services as needed and consistent with the requirements and duties of the position
- Ensures that services are provided consistent with agency standards, regulations and best practices
- Ensures that clinical records are accurate, adequate and current as per OASAS regulations
- Provides direct clinical supervision to multi-disciplinary team counseling staff members regarding service delivery and caseload management
- Monitors the completion and accuracy of clinical documentation by multi-disciplinary team counseling staff
- Identifies counseling staff professional and clinical skill development needs, and provides assistance as needed with accessing training and other resources
- Performs day to day management of the program operation including management of staff monitoring the maintenance of the site and reporting to administration
- Ensures compliance with Horizon’s policies and procedures, the regulations of certifying agencies, and the requirements of funding sources
- Performs evaluation of the program’s clinical staff in accordance with Horizon Health Services Personnel Policies and Procedures

What makes you a great candidate?

- Master’s degree in health and human services field required
- Education/Licensure/Certificates: LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, or CASAC required
- Minimum 5 years of counseling experience.
Location
This position is located at 291 Elm St, Buffalo NY
Hours
This is a full-time position from Tuesday - Saturday 8:00am-4:30pm with 2 evening shifts from 11:30am-8:00pm. There are also on call expectations.
Compensation:
Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $70,560 - $74,035. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.
Physical demands associated with this position include:
- Sitting for extended periods, alternating between standing and sitting
- Mobility required with repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements
- Handling light duties, occasionally lifting objects up to 20 pounds
