Job Title: Account Specialist

Position summary:
1. Responsible for proactively assisting with prospect support, new client onboarding, the renewal process and the implementation process leading to a successful, streamlined experience for the client.
2. Responsible for providing effective customer service for a block of HORAN clients by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and services and strong interpersonal skills.
3. Responsible for managing a small block of House accounts with a focus on retention and cross-sell/up-sell.
Responsibilities:
Problem solving and troubleshooting for client issues.
First contact lead for all client claims issues
Expert on assigned clients and context of client objectives.
Develop and deliver employee education and communications including presentation.
Loading and maintaining client details and plan information into client database
Bids and proposal preparation for Account Manager block of business
Strategic planning with Account Manager on benefit designs and recommendations
Problem solving and troubleshooting for the client including billing and claim resolution.
Organization of client files, both electronic and hard copy, updating information as needed.
Maintain client and vendor relationships with key decision makers.
Facilitate carrier/benefit changes for block of business.
Project management as it pertains to company goals and vision – as deemed appropriate by management.
Work with Account Manager identifying opportunities for sales goal.
Identify opportunities for OneHORAN or organic growth within House accounts.
Responsible for knowing market trends and new product information.
Attend industry education meetings, carrier updates and client outreach appreciation events as necessary.
Assist clients with compliance requirements related to benefits.
Demonstrate strong time management skills.
Assist Account Manager in completing consulting projects/market reviews with prospects.
Administer onboarding and implementation of new clients into block of business.
Manage own block of House accounts.

Qualifications & Skills Required:
College degree with minimum of 2 years of related business experience
Basic computer proficiency to include Microsoft office products including Excel, Word and Power Point
