The Business Analyst will identify, design, and drive implementation of business/system/data improvements and will work directly with business unit managers and frontline operations personnel to drive solutions and/or resolution of business issues/opportunities.
- Identify and provide insight to root causes and negative performance; including root cause analysis, trend analysis and VOA/VOC summarization.
- Consume information from a variety of sources (i.e. problems, opportunities, etc.) via various internal/external stakeholders (e.g. customers, agents, colleagues, vendors, executives, etc.) to strategically solve / mitigate risk(s), improve profitability, grow the business, and improve customer/agent experience.
- Serve as a conduit for cross-organizational coordination, communication, and technical documentation.
- Possess strong verbal/written communication skill for presenting/facilitation; serves as a Business/IT/Vendor translator or interpreter.
- Possess leadership competencies inclusive of decision-making, analytics, organization, initiative, engagement, research acumen, and successful project delivery.
- Understand stakeholder perspectives and prioritizes, abstracts, and presents information customized for the given audience(s) - adjusts documentation to redefine across paradigms.
- Identify, gather, and document business requirements, stories, use cases, process maps, SIPOC, etc.
Job Requirements:
- College-level education in fields of business, insurance, technology (computer science / information systems), engineering, finance, or communications / public relations OR minimum of two years of applicable professional experience preferred.
- Basic-level understanding and application of principles specific to software/system development/lifecycle, user acceptance testing, and project/product implementation.
- Possess basic skill-level regarding collection of business requirements and current/future-state process documentation.
- Experienced with software/system development/lifecycle, project life cycle, user acceptance testing, and project management philosophy/practice.
- Design, implement and maintain tools; such as, databases, templates, and reports leveraging Microsoft Suite
