Marketing and Communications Coordinator Full-time, 40 hours/week

We are looking for someone to join our dynamic Marketing and Communications team and work together to make a difference across western Colorado. We need someone with a passion for the mission and vision of HopeWest programs and commitment to “telling the story”.

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The Marketing Communications Coordinator is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies for HopeWest. This individual will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing creative solutions that consistently and clearly communicate the organization’s brand identity and messaging through all media channels. This position will be responsible for content development for various internal and external marketing campaigns which requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors required in marketing, public relations, or communications or demonstrated experience in the marketing field with verified results.
• 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, and/or public relations agency or related area.
• Experience in nonprofit organization preferred.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license and unlimited access to reliable transportation. 
• Adequate automobile insurance.
• Experience in PR/Communications campaigns or efforts

COMPETENCIES & REQUIREMENTS:

• Superior written and verbal communication, problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Working knowledge of a wide variety of computer programs including Microsoft office products.
• Must display the ability to use effective independent judgment and be able to work with a minimum of direct supervision.
• Team player who operates within a dynamic, all hands-on deck environment.
• Shows initiative and ability to effectively leads a variety of projects.
• Positive, resourceful, and flexible.
• Well organized, ability to manage multiple tasks on a tight deadline with a great attention to detail.
• Able to work in a variety of environments with people of varying backgrounds and experiences.

What We Offer:

• Pay $28.00-$30.20/hour
•  Mileage reimbursement of 60cents/mile for work related driving
